It is with deep sorrow and great regret that I learned about the passing of Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, singer and songwriter Hayko (Hayk Hakobyan).

With the untimely death of our beloved Hayko, contemporary Armenian music has undoubtedly suffered a great loss.

I extend my deepest condolences to the artist’s family, loved ones, and fans of his art.
