Judge Anna Danibekyan’s powers should not have been terminated for delaying the trial of President Kocharyan, but for the fact that this unlawful and unconstitutional criminal case was not dropped much earlier — and for the illegal detention of the President for about 1.5 years.
This is yet another political show, now with the involvement of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC).
Let me remind you that back in 2019, in what was called the “most important case in history” by the head of the SJC — more widely known as the "Silva case" — the courts clearly stated in their rulings that the threshold of reasonable suspicion had not been met.
