A press conference by Armenia’s second President and leader of the “Armenia” Alliance, Robert Kocharyan, took place yesterday in Yerevan.
During the conference, he addressed the Artsakh issue, the idea of opening an “Era of Peace” with Azerbaijan, and various domestic political topics.

The President noted that Azerbaijan is currently creating new problems for Artsakh, placing the people of Artsakh in a state of dependence on Baku.

The recent meeting in Etchmiadzin between His Holiness the Catholicos and the former Presidents of Armenia and Artsakh was also in the spotlight.
President Kocharyan spoke about the need for national consolidation — one that serves higher goals, not capitulation.
